can someone tell me about the support and uptime of freehostspace.com? Their one-time $35 package sounds ok but I went to their forum and users were complaining about their service. Thanks!:)

You checked out their forum to get some insight on the company.
If their current customers are saying the things you say, it would probably be a good idea to move along and find a place where good things are being said.

I think you would find coplaints in a support forum. I see customers complaining all the time in my forums.

If you just see a forum will all good comments , you will be tricked like I was . I was attracted by a hosting company with more than hundreds of votes and reviews with average over 9.5 points at hostsearch , and I thought it was good, but I was wrong .

I tried nuke.to , and I was wrong again . After setting up my account, and after I upload my database on the first day, the second day they deleted (yes, delete immediatly without warning) all of my files and said that I had their root pass in mysql_bash history something (and I'm sure that I don't have much knowledge about internet , even the unix shell commands) . Luckily I had my backup , else all my and my friends' whole year gone with the smoke .

I feel I was luck because of not going with nuke.to . And I'm happy now with aletia.com .

Yea, on thing you have to realize too is with a hosting company that offer's service for free there are going to be some good things and some bad things. I think as long as they don't have hidden charges or something they don't state in their policys then you should be ok.
