Hey,
I was wondering if anyone has decided on leasing servers from vendors instead of buying outright. Seems like a good idea for hosting companies since the technology is updating so often.
Also does anyone know of any good places that lease equiptment?

Dell makes great servers and offers leasing that's fairly easy to qualify for.

A FMV lease makes a lot of sense since the payments are generally fully deductible with no limits.

yah I actually checked out dell and they do have some
quality servers but I was looking to compare a few different
companies. Anyone else have any other ideas?

They can arrange for some long term financing deal for you.

You might also want to consider a warehouse-type place like CDW, which offers leasing on pretty much anything they sell (assuming they have a server you'd want though).
