I remember using a piece of software a while back that would return the OS, Webserver, etc... that a domain was running on (it was windows based). I can't remember the name of it. Anyone know? Is there a command in Linux that will essentially do the same thing?

For example. I want to be able to enter http://domain.com and it will return that is runs on Linux, Apache, etc...

Thanks

Maybe you mean Visual Route?

I don't think it's necessary, but hey... here is the URL:

http://www.visualroute.com/

NeoTrace from NeoWorx is another useful utility along this general line. They did a really nice job on this. Try here... http://www.neoworx.com/

There are also some useful network utilities (free) at http://www.AnalogX.com
