I'm really going to consider registering at GoDaddy.com, but I just need to know if it's fast and reliable?

The prices are great, but do they have support/support servers in event of power surge/fast servers?

If you search the forum you will find my dealings with them on hosting.

In one word it was horrible.

To summarize:

1) The technical support was incompetent and slow.
2) They do not give your domain name it's own IP address. This is very regrettable as you cannot connect to your site for FTP and mail through the IP address.
3) They are not flexible at all with money back guarantees.

They are a great registrar, but their hosting leaves much to be desired.

I have about 100 domains with them and never had any problem.

I've registered about ten domains with them without a problem.

I've also registered domains through them without any problems..

Are you asking about their registrar service; or their hosting services?

I just wanna' know if they are reliable and fast....

Lot's of people use them as a registrar and like them.
I've not heard much good about the hosting side of them. But, I've never used them for hosting.
I have some domains registered there, and they are adequate.
Seems like they lose a domain of mine every once in awhile. :rolleyes:
But, whenever I contact support about it, the matter is quickly resolved.
Unlike Stargate (whom I like) including ten extra domains in my account. I contacted them and I still have someone elses domains.:eek:

Recently stargate inc.com has really improved their system and all. So i would reccomend them. Im still suffering from registering at godaddy.com because i simply cant access it via my isp.
