Hello, I am writing a review on 1&1. Having been with them for a few months now, I completely regret ever choosing them. My server has been down for about 10 days and I have tried e-mailing, calling and etc.. They just won't fix it. Then in IRC, someone had an inside contact there, and even he would not fix it. About the only good things I can say is that their network is truly amazing. My box was able to push 70 mbps when I ran speed tests. Not to mention it's all Sprint and Level 3 bandwidth. The other good thing is that the box only took about 6 hours to be set up. But they lack in customer service, and in some cases like mine, it hurts big. They do offer money back guarentees though so I will see about that. I don't expect support from them because they are extremely cheap, but I also don't expect my box to be 100% inaccessible with no help what so ever from them.

So when its up its good and worth it you think?

Yes their network is good like I said. Just don't expect an ounce of support from them. I'm not sure whether or not to even reccomend them for unmanaged servers.
