Hi,

I would like to apologize for this downtime. It seems one of VDI's (our network provider) main routers is off-line per a trace route. We will keep you informed as we receive updates. We have nothing further to report at this time. Once again we apologize for this downtime.

Thanks,
Justin Mazzi

It ****ing sucks.
I'm there too.

But it's not 100% their fault,it's their datacenter,VDI,which is the worst ever and gave problems too many hosts already.

Vdi are bastards, and I don't have proper words for them after all I've seen yet.

Hmm,most of the day it runned fine to me,until an hour or so ago, hopefully it won't last long.
Once again,I say to Hostrocket: Move away from VDI!!

I run an online business and this is really putting a dent into my income. I'm just thinking about moving to a more realiable server so therefor I don't have to worry about this anymore. I'm seriously thinking about a decaited server. How much would this cost? I need the cheapest and the best!

And I am tired of moving to new hosts, the only mistake I made is always taking new hosts that have VDI as their datacenter.
I definitly learned my lesson.

I give it a few more weeks, and if they stay or if VDI still gives trouble,I will move again.

Over the past 6 months, we have been preparing to move from VDI to our own datacenter. We have had our own datacenter for about 4 months now. This Monday 11/05/2001 we plan to have our first DS-3 up and running. We have spent alota money improving our datacenter. In the next couple of months, we will be working on an action plan to move the servers to our own datacenter. This will take a few months in the planning to make such a move seamless as possible. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to contact us.

Thanks
Justin Mazzi

damn it, just download 10% of my big database , and it's down again . Bad for me, i'm using 56k . :o

My friends complained me choosing a cheap host (while they charge 13 for every 6 months) . I still have a lot of days on HR , but have to move . Hostway is charging 14 too, but a lot of people recommended this one for reliability .

around that .

I don't know which method my friend used to transfer his database to his new host using telnet , but with his 50mb, he just did about 2 mins of transferring . Do you know how?

I have to download , and upload again . Man, takes so long .
