I think its the time to my hosting bussiness to another and better provider ...


my question is:

i have 10 name servers/IPs with my old servers providers, can I move this IPs to the new providers so my 1200 domains needn't to re-transfer. ?

even the new provider use another noc ?

is changing the IP for the name server enoughf ?

No chance to use the same IP at another provider/noc, sorry.

It is possible to use the ip numbers elsewhere, however unless you set this up with the host in the first place its not likely that they will transfer those ip numbers away.

If they are open to payment then yup it is possible to take them with you and then have the ported to a host that will allow you to point those IP's at there own system if they support that.

Perhaps you should move DNS last...

Mirror DNS between both hosts... and copy the user data to the new host...

Notify your clients of the new DNS info, and don't delete their accounts at the old host until all DNS updates have completed..

Result, no down time.
