I just moved to mchost because I have some sites to host. Previously I had single accounts at other hosts, so I'm not very familiar with nameservers.
I used my domain schmiderer.cc for the main account. So I got two nameservers ns1.schmiderer.cc and ns2.schmiderer.cc which an IP address for each.
But the domain schmiderer.cc is pointing to my old host. I was told I have to register the nameservers at my registrar, but I have not found any option at enic.cc where I could register a nameserver. I contacted them yesterday but did not get an answer up to now.
Does anybody know how I register these nameservers at enic.cc? Is the only way to contact them via mail?
Thanks!

Hello noox,
I think if your domain registrar didn't provide any on-line/web interface for creating your own domain name servers, the only solution is to email them.
This can take more than a day just to get reply from your domain registrar.

Thanks choon!
I read on their site that they answer within one business day.
I just wanted to make sure that I'm doing the right thing. The faster the transfer the better it is!

Hello noox,
You are welcome :)
By the way, did you use the same email address that is used for registrating your domain with your domain registrar to send email request for creating your domain name servers? Some registrars may require that as to check whether you own that domain.
Good luck ;)
Cheers!

Some registrars may require that as to check whether you own that domain. Enic uses username/password for authentication. It's really easy to use. And now I saw the sentence on their site which says that you have to contact them via mail if you want to register a nameserver.
The authentication via email is one reason I left Networksolutions with my .com domains. That really sucked. But you usually need this email though if you want to move a domain from one registrar to another.
Could become a problem if you do not own this email address any more.

I was assigned ns1.me.to , ns2.me.to on my account hosted
by Mchost
I had difficulty getting immediated information from my domain
registrar, www.tonic.to . While I waited for them to answer my
email request about how to create name servers, I also
registered both host names at Network Solutions and requests
for my domain address began to resolve a day later, when I
received confirmation from www.tonic.to that my host names
were active. Anyway, even if it is not necessary, it worked and
it can't hurt to register the host names with Netsol.com here is
