View Full Version : List Alabanza Companies Please....
Hi, I really do fancy using an Alabanza host (unless anyone has any major problems I should know about) and would appreciate it if we could compile a list of them here, with any comments...
I only know of Hosting Matters and Hostrocket (which really is too good to be true).
Thanks...

Chicken 10-15-2000, 12:37 PM How many hosts are housed in Alabanza? By the time you'd get done counting them, there'd be 1,000 more. :)
cbaker17 10-15-2000, 12:56 PM Mybiz,
THeres not to be any advertising in this forum, there is a forum set aside for it.
-Edward- 10-15-2000, 01:42 PM i dont think he did anything wrong but thats only my opinion.
Someone asked for alabanza hosts.
So he said he was one i dont see anything wrong in that.
IntraHost 10-15-2000, 02:04 PM intrahost.com is an alabanza host
Pure Ideas Plus is also an Alabanza based host.

superior-host are moving, they are in the middle of moving, and new clients will not be on Alabanza.
Clarification for hosts : technically some of the posts made above would be in breach of this rule :
3. You can post replies to requests for general information or for those that are looking for a web hosts but not in a way that promotes your own company.
However, in the interests of maintaining a definitive Alabanza list (and so we get as comprehensive as possible) you may post to indicate if you're an Alabanza company - keep it to a simple statement please. This is a once-off thing.
(if anyone questions the rationale of my clarification, please feel free to post and I will offer my reasons. Of course, this clarification can always be annulled ;))
CRego3D 10-15-2000, 09:49 PM I'm on the same boat as Greg ... new customers won't be on Alabanza (and in a few weeks, neither will the old) ;-)
Website Rob 10-16-2000, 02:35 PM You can add PotentProducts.com (http://www.PotentProducts.com) to the list of Alabanza VAR's.
Farnsworth & Thomas 10-16-2000, 05:53 PM We're an alabanza host. If you like the interface on the control panel, we've made a lot of effort to customize each of them to our own design. In fact we're selling them to other Alabanza hosts because no one seems to like the old icons, yet it takes a lot of work to change them.

Usually only Alabanza hosts get to see this site, but here's a preview of the work we've done. Note: the whole 'savings' concept on the site is poking fun at all of us who are Alabanza hosts and claim to be saving soooo much money when we're all selling a similar product.

take care.
Carol 10-16-2000, 10:47 PM Hey, Thomas, nice icons.
Harris Media is also an Alabanza host.
When we were looking for a dedicated server, I compiled a list of hosts I understood to be leasing their servers from Alabanza. I've updated the list to include the hosts identified in this forum. If it would be appropriate to post a link to this list, perhaps a moderator will let me know. While the information might be helpful to some people, I certainly don't want to do anything to incur the wrath of the Chicken Death Squad.
As far as Alabanza hosts go, I know first hand that WeinBar Communications is an Alabanza host.
Peace
Please feel free to post the link, as it's extremely appropriate to the thread. :) Thanks.
DynastyHost 10-17-2000, 12:02 AM I am
Carol 10-17-2000, 12:56 AM Thanks for your quick response, BC. :)
Here's my informal list of Alabanza hosts: http://harrismedia.com/alabanza_hosts.html. If anyone knows of errors, please let me know.
Nice list Carol. Pretty comprehensive.

Can someone pls tell me why the following "Alabanza hosts" from the list display the same "under construction" page?
http://broadcasthosting.com/
http://iccsite.com/
http://knuge.com/
http://resellhostingventures.com/
http://soshosting.com/
http://virtualhostingsolutions.net/
DynastyHost 10-24-2000, 12:01 AM My guess would be because they are a reseller for one of the Alabanza host :)
2nd guess is because they havent' start making their pages yet.. Alabanza Newbie
Annette 10-24-2000, 12:16 AM Because that's the default template that Alabanza puts on their servers, and unless the host changes it, that's what you see when a new site is set up.
DynastyHost 10-24-2000, 12:19 AM I think he meant why they're a host.. and still have a under construction page..
:=)
Annette 10-24-2000, 12:44 AM I took it to mean what he asked - i.e., why are all the under construction pages the same, if all those companies are presumed to be separate from one another.
CRego3D 10-24-2000, 12:44 AM If that's what he means ... I agree ;) get those pages going !!!, start hosting and join us here :)

schweiz 10-24-2000, 03:48 AM Yupp// actually what I dont understand is, if their sites arent even up yet, how did anyone find out they are alabanza hosts?
btw, I != he :D
DynastyHost 10-24-2000, 03:50 AM We can tell from the default under construction page :)
schweiz 10-24-2000, 04:08 AM Sorry, maybe I should rephrase my question: how did anyone find out about them in the first place?
Brendan at HostRocket 10-24-2000, 10:22 AM Is it my imagination, or is "soshosting.com" that he posted before a really funny name for a webhost? : )

Thank you, ODE. Although, since "over 600 web hosting companies, web designers, and entrepreneurs" are powered by Alabanza, we must be missing a few. :)

Thanks for letting me know. I've taken them off the list.
etLux 10-24-2000, 07:32 PM With the performance, ahem, of some hosts lately... I think SOSHOSTING.COM is far from funny.
Bogdan 10-24-2000, 10:10 PM Carol,
You can add us to your list, if you'd like to.

tanger 12-02-2000, 09:36 PM what r alabanza hosts?
Alabanza is a company, which runs a NOC (Network Operations Center) which houses web servers, which we lease from them. So anyone who leases a server from Alabanza is considered "an Alabanza host"
