I bought some Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches easier today. (They are about two inches round and have egg, biscuit, sausage and cheese. Much like the ones at fast food restaurants) The problem is they are $5 for 6 of them and they have 380 calories each!

I'm wondering how to make egg that is similar to what you would see in a fast food sandwiches (Yellow, thick and looks like a sausage patty). I would try and search on Google but I don't know the name of it. I would like to try and makes these every so often. I usual have a plate of fruit in the morning instead. Different tates is always good,

Or just whip the eggs in a bowl till they're a consistant yellow then use an egg ring in a frying pan:

Or, you could hollow out a tuna can and use that in your frying pan (make sure you wash it first).

akashik's suggestion is your best bet. And when whisking your egg, don't forget to add a couple of drops of water. It makes it nice and fluffy. ;)

Doesn't the yellow egg that mcdonalds use come out of a tetra-pak milk carton? Processed egg?

Thanks, an egg ring is what I need. I don't know most of these neato tools. I'm not very happy with some of these "Non Stick" pans, you oil them and follow all the right steps and it takes a week and a lot of scrubbing to fix it. I had to throw away my egg poacher pan and just drop the eggs into the boiling water. :(
