Has anyone been able to sucessfully offer a 30 day free trial with their services using the modernbill system? I've been able to make a coupon to give 100% off, but this is only good for monthly billing terms. If someone orders a whole years worth and uses that coupon, it will be displayed as a whole year free. Any suggestions are appreciated.

No, you misunderstood. I want them to get the first month totaly free - meaning they won't be billed at all the first month. I know how to incorporate free months into a pricing system.

look into the help documents provided by modernbill :p

They actually said they don't support that feature yet - so I was hoping someone hacked up some source code to do it.

Payment processors, payment systems, merchant accounts, online banking, shopping carts and billing systems.
Technical & Security Issues:
Configuring and optimizing web hosting servers and operating systems, developing administration scripts, building servers, protecting against hackers, and general security (SSL certificates, etc.)
The Technical & Security Issues section has nothing to do with billing system and/or shopping cart configurations, modifications or "hacks" of the source code to provide a desired function.

have you tried making a seprate order group with special packages so if they want the thirty day free trial then they just use a different sign up

A lot of the topics started in E-commerce can also be applied to other threads. Mods a lot of times copy it over to another thread, but leave a redirect so a topic can get exposure into both forums.

However, this particular person is looking for technical information on how to implement a hack to allow this particular transaction into Modernbill.

Now, I believe someone is working on a hack to allow this particular feature. I'm not sure what the status is currently. I will try to dig up the info and will post back if I can find it.
