Well, right now i have ptr records for all our ip's, But it just simply transforms the ip xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx to xxx-xxx-xxx-xxx. I figured this was a simple solution to the problem but now customers are asking for changes to be made so it will revearse to their domain. Now i can see this wouldnt work for name-based accounts of course, but what do you guys out their do? Do you give them what they want. Their has to be a better solution to this.

There's really very little reason to have to have a webhosting IP resolve to the domain. Ask them why they need it, and if it's a valid reason it won't harm anything.

basically right now i guess it's really a mail issue for them. the server revearses the ip and see's if it match's the mail domain name. If it doesnt it add'd alittle comment that looks like this (My be forged)
