A few months back I tried to learn flash and could not get the hang it.
Now I would really like to be able to make stuff in flash to incorporate into my designs.
I am wondering what everyone thinks the best programs for flash are and where I can find some great tutorials?
Thanks in advance.

buy the flash mx bible (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0764536567/qid=1079999110/sr=1-2/ref=sr_1_2/104-1876411-0595137?v=glance&s=books) (they might have an mx2004 one out now, but i don't use that program - don't feel like spending the money to upgrade). the book is great and will teach you how to use flash quickly. it starts out with the basics - explaining the tools, techniques...then gives you a pretty good look into advanced flash and actionscripting. for deeper information on things like actionscript (I or II), database integration and other dificult things like that, you will need to get a more indepth book on that topic. some i suggest are
Actionscript: The Definitive Guide (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/1565928520/qid=1079999049/sr=8-2/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i2_xgl14/104-1876411-0595137?v=glance&s=books&n=507846) for Actionscript
PHP for Flash (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/1903450160/qid=1079999079/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_1/104-1876411-0595137?v=glance&s=books) for...the obvious
