Hello,

I would like to learn more about starting domain registration business before I go spending my money - :)

I am very unfamiliar with the field, so I have some question.

What is the cheapest route to go?
How do I get $5.99-6.99 domains to resell?
Are thier companies that don't require set up fees?
Whats the negatives about this industry?

Thanks

Cheapest isnt always the best. I suggest you look around at many registrars and use the search feature here. This question has been asked many times.

Normally this requires significant bulk to get such low pricing.

You would need to look around, there is over 100 registrars to choose from. Most require setup fees because they dont want people just coming and going at will if they are reselling.
Whats the negatives about this industry?
Too many people and it is very difficult to earn any money from domain registrations.

Many hosts use eNom because of its easy integration using its API.

There seem to be quite a few registrars nowadays... Unless there is something else you can provide, I would strongly urge you to look elsewhere at the present time.

DirectI
OnlineNIC
NICline
dotregister
- all have very good bulk pricing.
Take a look at ICANN site.
