Is it just me, or is Namecheap making it very confusing to see just how much the Whoisguard costs per domain? On their members info page it mentions discounts for 2 subscriptions and 5 subscriptions, but never mention the exact price other than "Only $4.88/yr (per domain)". What is that, the normal rate per domain, rate for 2 subscriptions, or rate for 5 subscriptions?

Does their service include forwarding of all snail mail? I know Domains by proxy, protectfly and protectid does. It would be waste to just pay for email forwarding only

We are currently offering 2 subscriptions of WhoisGuard for the price of one which is $4.88. The 5 pack costs $9.95 which comes out to $1.99 each.
Dmaven, yes, snail mail is forwarded as well.

Thanks. So I assume the normal rate is $4.88/domain then?
Just another question. Say I buy one year of whoisguard. What happens at the end of the year? I just want to make sure my domain renewal and whoisguard renewal is completely separate, and not renewing the later won't affect my actual domain.

The WhoisGuard subscription will expire 1 year from the time of purchase. This is seperate from your domains expiration date. If you have any further questions, please email us at support@namecheap.com .
