i purchased a domain name from namecheap.com
and what i want is i want to change the name of my domain

like the current domain is www.teenstandard.com
and i want it to be www.invisionteens.com

any one ?

Go and register for www.invisionteens.com if it is available ........... Otherwise, namecheap as many other registrars cannot change your REGISTERED domain when you change your mind.

There is a registrar that allows you to delete your registered domain name. I think they're the lone registrar that does that. Unforutnately i forgot the name of that site.

You can't change it. You can, however, register the 2nd name (and yes, you will have to pay for it). You should realize that by posting an un-registered domain name on a public forum, you run the risk of having someone else register it before you, so if you want it, register it now.

try contacting namecheap they MIGHT delete the domain for you since its under the 5 days grace period for registrar to delete domains.


Jeffreyw dotregistrar allows deleting within 3 days, infact all registrars are allowed in the 5 days period but some allow/does it and others dont at all

enom allows 120 hours to delete a name(120 hours from when the name is registered.) They just need to write fraudcredit[@]enom.com for them to get a refund within the 120 hours

Usually you get some time to delete your account. Not sure what their policy is. However, once you buy it, you are stuck with it.
