is this even possible..... i am providing services that are really cheap and cant afford the % fees every transaction has. is there any site that allows CC services with a flat fee instead of charging a percentage of every transaction?

Not really... unless such a service set some kind of maximum cap.

The reason why is that there is a discount rate % assessed by Visa and MasterCard along with per transaction costs. This "core cost" can't be avoided and is always there... inevitably it is passed through to a merchant or billing service.

So there wouldn't be any way for a billing service to offer credit card processing without a % rate unless they capped it out to avoid the transaction costing them more than they charged the merchant.

sp for example verisign offers only 500 transactions but has a monthly fee. is that something you were talking about. or do i have to pay a % there too.

Verisign is just a payment gateway. Most payment gateways don't charge any discount rate % - only flat fees and per trans fees.

You still need a merchant account to go with it in order to process and -that- is where the % rates would come into play, unfortunately.
