What's everyone's opinion on a good and relatively low cost dedicated host?

my budget is up to $1000/month,

for features including:
350+ Gigs of BW per month
750 Megs - 1 Gig of Storage
PHP
MySQL
Email etc.

Thanks

Recommendations will somehow depend on this question: "do you have adult materials?"(since some hosts have really good offer yet do not allow adult materials)

cheers,

RackShack.net is working on a very good high bandwidth Linux solution.

You can opt for a dedicated server with much more space and that amount of bandwidth with your budget.

no no. this isn't an adult site at all.
it's a large web community that gets a lot of hits from young people.

i was looking into a dedicated server plan. what's your opinion on a good host for that?

I just got this link from another thread. I have called them, checked them out, the guy knew his stuff, and i am putting a secondary box there.

They are in Canada, where i am, and our networks are WAY less busy than US.

NO monthly fees if you send your own box, and $2.50/gig, is the ONLY fee!

Adult content alowed.

Check www.cheapunixhosting.com
they offer great deals. Espcially if your budget is $1000, a good deal should be possible.

good host . . .

well, the best hosting i know is rackspace.com. there prices are high but fits your budget. reset all are players in the market.

but every body have some of there own plus points. some hosts offers attractive prices but lack on imergency situations.

at rackspace you will always get someone. always.

but you will pay a lot for that. it depends on your defination of good host.
