This may sound off the wall...If you create skins for IPB to sell, do you register (in other words, pay for) your installation to be able to fully skin/view all the parts like the subscription module?

When skinning I think the skinner designs around his own forum. Then...supplies the client with the correct files to plug in to their own site. Just remember that the skinner is only skinning. They should not be moding and changing your forum...apart from the look.

So...there is no need for them to even visit your forum. Although I am sure most do.
