I upgraded to XP last Thursday and I am really enjoying it.

I do a lot a lot of graphics and often have Fireworks, Flash, Illustrator and Photoshop open at the same. After a couple of hours my Win 98SE system was running out of steam and I would have to save all of my work and reboot.

Now I am able to work through the day without a pause.

Definitely worth the money.

Did you have to re-enter all registration information for your programs after the upgrade? Even re-install some of them?

No the install went smoothly - took 2.5 hours.

Had some small problems with

Outlook
Zone Alarm
Printer driver

Oh and the 'vibarations' in my new optical mouse don't work but I'll have a new driver for that soon.

It's beautiful software and makes Window$ what it always should have been.

Well, I had ME before and I upgraded to XP home.
I had to re-enter registration info for CuteFTP, Dream Weaver/Fireworks. Re-enter all account info in Outlook Express 6, Find drivers for HP printers, Scanner (Cannon-1 month old) still does not work. the the wierdest at all was, Office XP did not work, I had to re-install.

Go Figure !!!

Sounds like you had a worst case scenario- I wouldn't want to have to to re-install.

Do you usually have rotten luck with U/G's?

"Warning: Too many connections in /home/whtalk/www/admin/db_mysql.php on line 38
"

No , I never had any problems with any software on my box.. Everything was sooooo smooth before I got the XP.

I already spent countless hours trying to fix it..

Not to mention ofcourse not bieng able to uninstall some software from my machine.

Just noticed you sell merchant accounts.

Can you make any money doing that?

Whats your systems spec?
Which version are your running?

I've been using Office XP for about a month - had a couple of glitches with Word, but everything else seem fine.

Joana,

No, I meant Privatebox.
I wasn't referring to problems - just an interest if what spec it was installed on. As I don't use it, I can't help any probs - Sorry :)

Has anyone tried Flight Simulator 2002 with Windows XP Pro? I am getting both soon and was wondering how it ran.

Thanks!
