Hi Guys,

I am looking to make a CD Rom based catalogue but im not sure where to start...

Basically we have around 4000 or so products that I want to 'present' on a CD that can be viewed\searched\printed so that the CD can be sent out to clients and they can view our product range.

Basically I am looking for ideas as to how to even start this task, can anyone recommend software\tutorials or anything,

Sorry for it not being web software but I have already managed to make the sql version of this catalogue :)

I will be greatful for any ideas.

usually we do it with shockwave / macromedia director
then burn it to CD with Autorun.
Then we had custom products burn to CD, and we implant capability to connect to the internet for the new products.

And it's works and customers are happy with that :)
