Yes, contact your bank and request a chargeback.

I don't think so, or it may be very hard ... You are using debit card, not credit card hence you are paying the host directly from your checking accout (just like paying cash). That's the reason I never use debit card for online transaction ...

I am sorry to hear your problem :(

cheers,

True but it is still a VISA card. Contact the bank and they *should* do a chargeback. However it will probably take a while for it to go through.

I think it's a debit card with VISA/Mastercard logo (have you seen any like this?)... It's basically still a debit card, not a credit card. The fund/money is drawn directly/in real time from your checking account. I am 99% sure you can't do anything about it ... The VISA/Mastercard logo is just a convenience the bank give you ...

I have a debit card with and have done a chargeback successfully.
It took about 3 weeks to complete.

you can request a chargeback but they will have to cancel your card until everything is fixed. so you will have to be the judge of what will be more important $150 or not having your card for a month or so

I've done a chargeback on a debit card as well. There was no card cancelling or anything...
