Ok, after some bad experiences from a host that I will not name, I need help finding one!

I need to be able to resell accounts.


I need:
Virtual Name Servers
POP3 *WITH SMTP*
IMAP
and all the normal stuff.

I would like to be able to edit the DNS myself. Web based or in BIND, I dont care. Im just really having problems.

I was going to go with cfoxhost.com but they use a pop3 auth instead of an acutal SMTP and im not sure how that will affect things.

Ryan, all this means is that to send mail from your domain, you must first check the pop account. This opens a 15-30 minute window for you to send mail out (it varies, could be a little more could be a little less).

Ah. So, under that, please tell me if im wrong, i can just have my clients set thier mail manager to check like every 10 or 15 min and it would keep the window open the entire time?

You're correct. Besides most mail clients check mail before they send any. So your customers probably wouldn't even notice.
