If we look at our historical numbers, our advertising $$ per new signup ratio is pretty nice (appx one month hosting fees). We're considering a larger scale investment in banner ads and such soon, however, and I think our cost of acquisition will likely rise, since a large portion of our signups this year have been via word of mouth.

I'd be interested to know if anyone has analyzed their marketing budgets and corrsponding signups and their calculated cost of acquisition (ROI) and would be willing to share?
