Many people want feedback on certain ideas / projects that they / their company may offer in the future, yet it seems there is not a correct forum for this - as it is hard to distinguish the line between advertising, and not advertising / promoting services etc.
Perhaps a dedicated Ideas Forum would be the solution to this?

These suggestions are good, though one thing I realize is that adding forums makes things a bit confusing for new members and a bit overwhelming. A bigger WHT with 5 more forums might not be the best thing, even if it seems like it would be. I still have to talk to matt about a few things...

Well no offence Chicken but if you are going to just shoot down great ideas and thoughts that people have then what is the point of having the suggestions and feedback forum?

I think what the WHT guys mean as feedback and suggestion are those for the sake of having a better WHT forums, not about feedback and suggestion for particular individual or groups. It's pretty clear defined in the brief notes on the main page when we're about to enter this forum.

I guess people can ask for recommendations, feedback, suggestions or whatever you want to call it, in the "Website Review" forum, which I hope, not just for website, can use it for projects or ideas like what Reflexhost_M mentioned initially.

Absolutely no offense taken netsolutions. I hope people realize that all suggestions are read and may pop up in some form or another (just as an example, an existing forum may be modified instead of a new forum created), that they may not happen right away, and that some suggestions may not be implemented at all.

If I see a potential problem with the suggestion, I will post a comment or two (so that people know that we're not just ignoring it), and to generate a discussion about it so that some of the details could be worked out, with the aim of somehow incorporating the suggestion in the future.
