Hi,
Having a little problem, I wanted to try my hand at restoring my raq4i, I downloaded the iso burned the cd, made it bootable and found a machine it would boot on, Problem is it will only boot so far, then I get the error

Warning : unable to open an initial console

Kernel Panic: no init found try passing init = option to kernel

What went wrong?....

This happens all the machines I try the disk with.

This is a ver 2 os restore disk.

I thought someone else had this same problem within the last couple of weeks... have to search for 'kernel panic'
