I was thinking of offering a free trial with my hosting. You know, something along the lines of the cc doesnt get charged for 15 days or whatnot. Anyhow, I have experience of giving things away for free, and I tend to think something like this might attract someone who wants a website up only for a few days and then close shop(referring to cc theft and child pornography mentioned in other posts). So if anyone has any responce to any problems along these lines, it would be great.

I'd be cautious, might be better just to have a money back guarantee....

I completely agree. I've seen to many people get jerked around with free trials. I've seen people put a CC number down, get the free trial and then the CC turns out to be fake. There are so many more reasons why you shouldn't offer free trial that it would take forever to explain them all.

Offering a money back guarantee is much more secure for your business than free trials. I stopped free trials for my customers.
