I've no idea.

A google search brings up so many differentiating results, and the .com merely directs to JaguarPC's homepage.

It seems they just hit a brick wall with it (?).

A few results on google pull up stories that it will be completed at a later date, but I for one highly doubt it, and it will probably go the way of many failed attempts, that being the trash can.

I think the project been dropped, its been at 99.9% complete and "testing by reseller" for nearly two years now. It was a bright idea and clearly there was demand (huge infact for an unreleased project) but unfortunately it doesnt seem as if it will make the market.

Strange considering they launched a new website for it a few months ago. I know it's been completely designed - maybe they ran out of cash for it?

I was actually just about to post the same thing myself. I recall looking at it about a year ago and thinking that it looked like a nice control panel. I'm sure there is plenty of interest out there if they were to finish the product.

I believe HostGUI was sold to another company.. perhaps they are re-writting it from scratch?

Just noticed the site is pointing to jagpc now.. i think its safe to say its over.. finally.. RIP HostGUI..
