Hi, I am looking into getting a dedicated server at ServerMatrix and hosting FileMaker Pro databases in a Windows 2000 enviroment. I'm wondering if anyone has any experience hosting FileMaker Pro databases in windows over the net. My client is offering to send em a copy of FileMaker Pro 4, the application I believe not server. If I run this on my dedicated server, will this allow me to host databases over the internet or just on a local network? If it is able to host databases over the internet, will I be able to administrate, create, edit and remove databases via the internet or will I need to have someone at the server to do this?
