Since every other attempt at contacting Alexa editors over the LAST YEAR has failed, I thought I'd take a stab in the dark and see if there were any Alexa editors hanging around WHT.
They choose to ignore my handful of emails sent over the last year, I've exhausted most of my options other than taking some time and money and making a trip to deliver my message in person (thanks for the detailed directions (http://pages.alexa.com/company/directions.html)!). I can't say I won't do it, I can say they definetely would not want me to, I can spread these size 13 boots pretty thin.
As I said, I'm attempting to be nice, but that has resulted in no progress, so I'm pretty much ready to turn to my other way of persuasion, that always nets a result.
My main site (visualintensity.com) is listed in Alexa. Along with the listing it has See other sites owned and that links to a listing for thewaltdisneynut.com. Yes, I at one time did own thewaltdisneynut.com, but that has been a year ago. That listing still has all the results from when I owned it, it still has my contact information listed with the domain, which I do not want listed with a site I don't own anymore. Up until a month or two ago it still had the thumbnail from my site, which I fixed with the update thumbnail link.
That's as far as I can go because everything else requires verification from an email address at the domain. I have sent numerous emails (with considerable time in between) but no corrections have been made, not even a single reply to any of my emails. I've even gone as far to fire off emails at Amazon with no result, except telling me to contact the editors at Alexa , yeah that will sure help!
If anyone else has some advice, let me have it because I'm done being nice. I'm about to get mean. And people who know me know that's definetely not a good thing (I didn't get this nickname for nothing).
Bah. I just had to get that out.
