Anyone know if/when modernbill will work with Plesk 7? We're thinking of purchasing both and hoping to go with Plesk 7 rather than 6.

It works with it already. It's not as good as it could be, but I haven't to this day found a better billing solution that's integrated with Plesk.

I'd say the major limitation now is that the autocreation tools will only for the first domain/package of the client. After that you get in some conflict. I wrote on their website regarding this issue yesterday, and haven't checked back today. It's really due to the way Plesk works and I can see how they could have missed that.

Thanks for the information. Looking at a lot of different packages, these two seemed to stand out to me. Hopefully they will work on the integration a little more, but it looks like we will end up going with these two packages.

How responsive has modernbill been to these types of issues?

Well, when you're an end user, the company making a product is never responsive enough. That's as true for Modernbill as it is for Plesk, and I've always seen numerous complaints here along the same lines for Ensim and cPanel.

Personnally, I'm sold to Plesk, and I've always been. I tried all of the big 3 at the time (cPanel, Plesk and Ensim) and always liked Plesk better.

From there, it was just trying to find a billing module that integrates well with Plesk. There are many great billing solutions, but very few integrate with Plesk. I've tried quite a few, and the best one so far is Modernbill, even tough I can't say I'm 100% satisfied with it. But as long as you just have one package per client, it does the job.

I tought easypsa were on to something, but they seem to be dead now. Stopped at PSA5.

Now, if the folks at 4psa could just wake up and make a billing solution ;)... They do great things, often better than the way Plesk does them, but it's really a billing solution I need. Oh well..

The MB's Plesk 7 integration doesn't work at all. I got the automated account creation working once and that on a clean server with a 1 domain license :eek: . The last version of MB's wrapper doesn't work on our already filled servers.

Well, it works for me, on a server that probably isn't as full as yours, but a good part of my 300 domains license is used.
