Having recently had to reformat my raq 4. I got the hosting company to save all the sites in home/sites. I first installed webaliser 2. I then created all the users again and then put all the files back using the mv function with telnet. I then discovered that you could not access any of these files with the site username (all was changed to root user). So I changed the users permissions for the "/web" directory) under telnet using the function chown -R username /home/sites/sitename/web
I have now discovered that you can only access the webaliser stats with the server admin password and username. What can I do so that the admins for each sites can view their stats again?
I have tried creating a new user with administrator access but I still cant enter the users/stats directory with this user (still only with servers admin one). I then tried changing the chown permissions like I did for the /web directory but still with no luck. Having done this I tried creating a new user again with admin access but still nothing !
