How big of a part do you think a name has in the web hosting industry?

I have recently registered thost.com which i hope to use for my web hosting company.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

A name is only as good as the image that you can build around it. Sure I will not argue that some names are better than others but it all depends on you talents as to building a certian image and 'feeling' for the name and what it represents. If you are good enough the name itself is not important at all. On the flip side of some names are better than others is some names are worse than others and thost does rhyme with toast and you name build talents are just going to have to be that much better to overcome that.

(I even thought of the rhyme before reading the other post that pointed that out so I am just not going along with what someone else had said)
