nsanden 10-29-2001, 01:48 AM Nice sized bull you took there.. Alaska's a great place. I miss it :(
AlaskanWolf 10-29-2001, 02:17 AM ah that pic was my sister, her son and my dad, they worked quite hard that day (shot it in a field) took 3 hours to get it out
(i wasnt there, I was in Bethel with a broken airplane and bad back hehe)
My bull had a spread of 53" and finally got it back from the processor last week :) good taste to it
nsanden 10-29-2001, 02:24 AM Wish we had Moose in WA. All we have are way too many deer and they're so small they aren't even worth shooting. We did shoot an elk a few days ago though. Nothing like fresh alaskan moose though :(
Chicken 10-29-2001, 03:10 AM Moose death aside, some nice pics.
JustinK 10-29-2001, 03:39 AM What's the 61st picture? It looks like a jellyfish or something someone coughed up... There's nothing like those cute shots of children sitting on a dead animal corpse now is there? :O A BEAR?! WHO KILLED MR. TEDDY?!
Walter 10-29-2001, 03:50 AM Aaah, Alaska, really a beautiful place.
Don't you want to fly to Europe with your small plane :D
and bring me over to Alaska?

I've got a grizzly in front of the fireplace :D Anyways, really nice pics :) Dont get my started on planes.
JustinK 10-29-2001, 04:14 AM I don't like animal skins. When I was little my grandparents lived on a hill and my great aunt and uncle lived on the same hill (2 houses, one on each side of it). Anyway, I'd go over to visit the great aunt & uncle since I could always sneak in a few extra sugar cookies over there while no one was looking. I'm still straying... ahem... well the great aunt and uncle had a huge wolf skin on the wall that scared the *censored* out of me... I had (and still have) an overactive imagination so I always thought when the grandfather clock started going off (dong...dong...dong...etc...) the wolf skin would jump off the wall and try to eat me.
I'm supposed to go see some relatives up in AK, but I fear they might take me hunting. I'm squirmish about fishing... they tell me to kill something I'm likely to bring home a spider with a hole through it at the most.

ROFLOL!!! I killed my first moose with a 243, one shot, right behind the ear, at 10 years old...
Antler spread on that was 73" (longer then me at the time!!)

Sports Fishing? That's worse than hunting because you're not actually killing the fish, only torturing it. Enough. :D
