I don't like it even though I have gotten it since day 1. I feel like i am reading a comic book. Also, there are more ads in it than Glamour.
I read it, because it's usually pretty funny.

I get it. I haven't actually read it in a few months though (probably since about July). It just gets tedious. They concentrate so much of their reporting to target the large companies it is hard to find truly useful information. It was the same with their Expo they put on this last summer - everything was targetted to large companies.
I'd like to see them re-focus some of their efforts on the smaller market. The first 2 or 3 issues they had were great with regards to that. But then I think they must have gotten a 10,000 copy subscription from Exodus or something and felt they had to re-focus to the larger market. And the magazine has really suffered because of it.
When I went to their Expo this summer, the majority of hosting company owners I met were from customers with less than 10,000 subscribers - but the majority of programs they had going on were targetted toward companies in the 50,000+ customer range. It was very, very disappointing.
Someday, maybe, I'll sit down and read all the issues I haven't bothered looking at yet. But I can guarantee I won't read them cover-to-cover.

'Bit Bunker' and Chubby Johnson are pretty entertaining. :)
I tend to agree with Jason that their focus isn't really in the right place (or maybe it is if it's really that Exodus edge they're looking for). October's issue had a four way battle over billing systems. To quote a price mentioned on one:
"A little bird told us pricing starts at $300 000, averaging out at $500 000"
The three others were $200 000 to $250 000. Sure, maybe they're nice systems, but it's not going to be something anyone is this forum is going to buying anytime soon.
Isobel Wang was in here months back, and she got quite a thread going when she asked what people would like to see in the mag - none of those suggestions really seem to have had much of an appearance beyond a reseller article a while back.
