 | View Full Version : router proplem traixanha 03-10-2004, 12:31 PM i have computer which coonected to a router,but everytime when i restart my computer it usually change the internal ip, some time is 192.168.1.104 or sometime is 192.168.1.102 ....,and of couse my webserver wont work it it keeps changing the internal ips on that computer which i using for webserver...Anyone know what it the proplem?thanks first Maquiavelo 03-10-2004, 02:37 PM It would help to know what kind of router is it. rebuke 03-10-2004, 02:49 PM It sounds like you might be running a DHCP server on your router with a very short lease time, so that your machine picks up an IP from it one time, then when it reboots it picks up a completely different one. If you are trying to host something internally you should use a static IP on your internal machine. |
