Well your question is more difficult than just a plain answer of "go to joes network center".

your question should cover the following

1) as JTY said " what type of quality"

2) does the location have multiple providers ( some NOC have access to over 20 providers )

3) do you need access on a 24 x 7 x 365 access ?

4) does the noc have gas fire prevention systems ?

5) will your rack be in a private or public cage ?

Since I think you are talking about 1 server, then you might want to consider whom your sharing your rack space with. Would you feel safe if your server sat next to your competitor ( a quick clip and your system is down till you send a teck )

just some thoughts

But, seriously . . . . PM me that name so I can find out if it just gets hashed out here; or if it's everywhere around this board. ;)

By the way, would someone tell me the best car to buy? Also, what would be the best color for me to paint my living room?

I am astonished to hear this question from you, but the answer is very simple:
1. Porsche
2. orange

I'll agree on the Porsche but paint the room Light Blue, that will for sure drive a wife nuts.

I'm looking myself and noticed Tera-Byte's Plan B colo which offers burstable 10mbit. You pay for what you use at $2.50/gb, no rack charge for a 1u box and a $100 deposit against usage. Not a bad deal for uncommitted transfer, I think -- unless I'm missing something.

Anyone have thoughts or experience with this?

I didn't realize the no rack charge applied to that plan b as well... hmm... I could be saving quite a bit... DOH!

Well, that's what they seem to indicate at the top of their price chart. I'll have to ping them about this.

I already asked them to confirm it, and they did.

There is no rack charge. The only recurring monthly charge is the US$2.50/gb (with an up-front US$100 against usage).

I am in the process of switching over (building my 1U FreeBSD server as I type this.:))

Hmmm... I have a RaQ3. I was going to ebay it, but maybe it would be better to throw it up there? Funny thing is, it *was* up there and I had them ship it back to me somewhat recently, DOH! Any thoughts? What would you do?

Kikko networks resides at globix, and buys bandwidth at a great price.

You talkin' to me? :D

Well, my plans are to get comfortable with my new FreeBSD server then ship it to Alberta. I have had very good experience with their support, and the Plan B price is very good for my needs (mostly freebie friend & family hosting).

You'll have to look at your situation and needs, and decide from there.

Yeah, I'm talkin' to you... ever see Taxi Driver? :D

Don't worry, just my own mental turmoil of what the heck to do with this server.

Never saw Taxi Driver, but I use the catch-phrase from time to time. :)

Price & specs, if you still want to sell it? I want a RaQ2 or 3 at home on cable, as emergency backup for my RaQ4 at Rackshack.

Anyone else have a RaQ2 or 3 for a good deal?

I just looked at & phoned Tera-Byte. My Raq4 is currently using only 5 gigs/month, with 70 small sites. At Tera-Byte, my TOTAL bill for month would be $12.50.

Only $100 up front, and they said even a tower was fine, doesnt have to be a pizza box at all.

24/7 support & reboots, toll-free phone, and IRC.

My second server goes to Tera-Byte.

Thanks to the forum. Else i would never have heard of them. AND they're in Alberta, Canada, only 500 miles form me.
