I would like to hear about some of the load averages. What is your average amount of space used per account. What is the average data transfer? What is the average amount of POP3 used?

I don't think there is really all that much of a straight answer for what you are asking... If a host only offers cheap accouts with low usage caps, then their averages are going to be low. If a host offers primarily business packages then their usage will be much higher.

This is the whole point of having multiple packages and pricing structures. If you want the user to use x amount of space and bandwidth, then you make their package limited to that. Plain and simple...

I guess what I'm asking is, if you have an account that offers about 100MB of space and 5GB of transfer, do you find that they don't come near the package limit or they do.

The biggest question I guess I am asking is....Do most of your customers come close to the package limit?

33% never go futher than a 3 - 5 pages with 1 e-mail and 200MB traffic per month.

33% upgrade their packages within 6 monthes of hosting

33% are just happy what they have and use it at full strength

1% are moving from ISP to ISP in search of good deals, cheaper prcies, etc.

The majority of our customers do not come close to the limit. However, some signup to the lower spec'd packages and then pull high amounts of transfer per month...

Yeah, most clients don't come close the limits. However I host the really cheap sites, mostly personal pages, very small businesses, etc. But most of them don't come close to the limit.
