Is it possible to know the server configuration of a server..if I know IP, site hosted, ns, and yeah where the server is located at.
It is located in rackspace, bytheway !
I just want to know if he's using a dual processor system, IDE/SCSI hard disks, how much amount of RAM and so on !
Thanks for help in advance.

Have you considered just sending the guy an email and ask?
Anything else doesn't seem to be polite (resembling industrional spionage...)

It is not at all profitable if he runs that kind of configuration which he says he is.

I would not be very useful for a host to claim they have dual CPUs and so on - many customers are able to find out that their claims are not for real (through telnet/SSH).

It shows most of the stuff but if you want to go into what type of modules / and other stuff installed, you may have to go up a level.

Hmm, looks like you're running a 2.4.7 kernel. Better upgrade that before someone runs the latest root exploit (http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=23832) against you.
