I've got several questions concerning Dedicated Server Hosts:
Background: I need large bandwidth, at least 1000 Gb/month. Gaming Servers have to be allowed. I need a really good ping to most European countries (mainly UK, France, Germany and NL). I need rootaccess.

1. Suggestions of providers that meet with the criteria mentioned above?
2. Win servers always uses a lot of server power. Is Linux better in that aspect?
3. How is a common dimension of game servers- how many percent overload?
4. Which country provides the fastest network and best pings to surrounding countries (europe based and in generally)

Please: Don't answer me with stuff like:
* Noob, dont waste your money on game servers
* Usage depends on game and settings etc.

Check on rackcheck.com, they are Germany based and have enormous of bandwidth allocated for a server.

Search them in dedicated offer, 2.5TB :D

No where unless you wanna get one from Asia....then your pings for game customers gonna be pretty mad.

Yet another US based actor. My ping to his reference server was over 100 ms - real ******.

Well, most dedicated server providers in Asia (esp Singapore, Malaysia, Korea) do not meter data transfer. However, I do not know how good or bad will the pings be will connection from outside Asia.
