Well, i'm kinda annoyed. The last buyer got me to do everything under the sun to the template, even changing language, then pulled out. :angry:

I had the exact same problem with the same guy.

Kinda frustrating huh? Especially having to change all those images and slogan to turkish

His ICQ is 133174483, and the name says Cenk Kaan. I made the stupid mistake of not getting him to sign a contract or getting even more details about him. I'm too trusting :)

I did all the mods quickly, stayed up really late once just to make the changes too. I thought $300 seemed too good to be true :p

In feature maybe charge them 50 before you start work, then the other 50% once its finished, if they pull out at leased you been paid some thing.
A friend of mine made some perl scripts for a client, set the up, and never got paid. :angry:
He has since started to charge 50% before then 50% after.

Just some thing to consider :D

but what does he get out of having you do the job and then not taking it. I mean he most want something out of it. maybe after you turn the images to Turkish he takes them and adds it to his site. Why will you go from designer to designer ask them for the work after they are done just leave it all done and never call back?

He was after a perfect design. Well.. I guess we all just aren't up to his standards ? :D

And I left a copyright there, so if he takes stuff. I... I... It's not even work spending the money on a lawyer :p

I can't help it to realize that part of the above design (particularly the hosting plans column on the right) is very similar to www.egehost.com . Do you onw the above design? If not, then you can't really offer it, can you? If you do own it, then egehost.com is stealing from you? Please clarify

he used you so you can turn the images to turkish so that he can add it to his site.

that is really sad...things like that make me mad :angry:

I didn't deceive anybody. They had made a web design but i didn't like them so i didn't buy it. it is my justice,isn't it? You can ask them that if i'm using their design? NO! i don't use their design. if i had used their design, i would have paid for them. Nobody don't know what's happening but everybody writes somethings in here. What a big bull****.

But i see the right side images they are the same one in the design that he made for you that you DIDNT pay for... or are you gonna tell me you made then yourself?

Heh, 'recycled'. You can't just take bits from peoples sites, those side images I made in photoshop for use in the design I was going to sell you. I'm afraid they were copyrighted, as I put the notice on the page that I sent as a demo. Please remove them from your website. I'm not going to make a fool of myself in this forum, but I can tell you that I am really not impressed. :angry:

Antilamer, you're not just going to go around ripping off people's sites, requesting design work and then ripping that off and continue to request services from this forum. If your entire site isn't removed within 2 hours, you will be banned from these forums. This is really about the most pathetic, blatent theft I've seen at this forum.

Not theft.. 'Recycling' ;). I feel sorry for www-hosting, they just redesigned their site too hey?
