We ran one of them on the roof of a building through a South Dakota winter, sometimes -20F, and it ran for 5 months or so until we took it inside one day and it never worked again. But that's considerably outside the specs.

They're a really cheap camera, but they don't cost much, you know? It's no $500 CCD, but for a webcam it's fine. We had three of them running as webcams at a University for awhile.

I grabbed 3 of them ages ago, with the VCR kit and everything. This was back when they didn't have ads at every website you could think of. They have been great so far, I ordered them all the way over to Australia :D The quality isn't exactly the best, but I cant complain, they were like, $175. Good cheap video security, it's kinda neet, it starts recording on my VCR when the sensor detects movement, and stops after 5 minutes until it detects something again. Great little toy lol :) Seeya
