I am doing alot of research on redundancy and caching.

I am looking at a few products to strengthen the network we are going to use for our directory.

I am interested in some feedback.

You can get a cheaper version for just under 10k (at least you could a few months ago). They always push the expensive version of Web Server Director (WSD) or they try to get you to buy two.

There are several other companies out there with similar products:

I will post more as I remember them. I do know that the Alteon's as some what difficult to set-up (according to some of our customers).
