I'm looking at these two:

http://www.servertech.com/products/vac/ptef.htm
Anybody have any experience with these (or any others)? I want something that can be accessed over the web (or at least via telnet).
I've heard good things about the APC Master Switch...

The APCs are great - you can even get to them via WAP. Imagine being able to reboot servers from your cell phone. ;)

Are these the ones you're talking about:

I looked at those. Don't you need an external box to contol them? A couple of things I don't like are that it has 16 power plugs but only 8 of them are remotely reboot-able (the rest are always on), and it has only 20 amp input. One thing they have going for them is that they're cheap; I could get one for half the price of the Server Tech model (but then again, the Server Tech has twice as many remote reboot-able outlets in the same space).

We have used the 1 U APC with 8 ports. While there has been a rather high out-of-box failure rate, we have set it up where are customers who have the units can log into our website and push a button (virtually) and it will cycle on and or off.
Servertech, on a per port basis, is about the same price in quantity (about $50) but is 1U for up to 64 ports but we have not tried them, yet.
