 | View Full Version : Can you give me a direct link on where to get started to learn about servers? lexington 03-04-2004, 09:27 AM Hello, could anyone give me a direct link on where to begin to learn everything about managing a server? MY server goes down every darn day and noone cares since it is not their own, so the only way for me to fix it is to learn everything about linux and SSH I suppose since not even people I pay can help. Could anyone give me a direct link on where to get started? I tried searching google but never find what I am looking for. Web Monkey Unix (http://hotwired.lycos.com/webmonkey/backend/unix/), MySql Documentation (http://www.mysql.com/documentation/), O'Reilly and Associates (http://www.oreilly.com/), UNIX® Load Average (http://www.teamquest.com/resources/gunther/ldavg1.shtml), Server Security Guide (http://admin0.info/articles/security/), Linux 101 (http://linux.about.com/cs/linux101/), Web Host Gear (http://webhostgear.com/index.php), and Apache Docs (http://httpd.apache.org/docs-project/) should keep you busy for a while.
