NetXL 10-25-2001, 07:35 PM Once again I need the jawdrop smilie. :stickout
Great deal, just out of curiosity, can you still get the $35/U colo at 99c/gb? Or is it the $1.50 as on your site? Thanks!
cbaker17 10-25-2001, 08:00 PM All new customers get it for 99cents as long as they sign up before halloween.
NetXL 10-25-2001, 08:09 PM Sounds great! Once again, very cool offer :)
(SH)Saeed 10-25-2001, 09:35 PM Wow!! We're already with affordablecolo.com and although we're still working on getting one of our server online, Charles has been very helpfull. Their new datacenter seems very fast and reliable. With these prices, I feel like it's X-mas already :D
creid 10-25-2001, 10:12 PM Nice deal Charles!
Never Knew Rackshack offered Colo
cbaker17 10-25-2001, 10:14 PM I dont think they do, but if a dedicated server customers wants to buy a server and colocate it with us i dont have a problem with that :)
dektong 10-25-2001, 11:07 PM oh ... so this is your killer special? Nice deal .... Questions though:
1. Do you still do monthly average based on MRTG to calculate for badnwith?
2. How about bandwith prepurchase? Surely people who buy 1GB at a time and those who buy 100 or even much more won't be tretated the same? (I just want cheapest bandwith!!! :) )
let us know ..
cheers,
(SH)Saeed 10-25-2001, 11:47 PM dektong,
From what I've understood..
1. That deal is based on 95th percentile.
2. The $.99/GB price is if you pre-order the bandwidth (which you do once a month), otherwise it's $3.00/GB.
All this information can be found on their website.

cbaker17 10-26-2001, 01:13 AM I think your confused, you can buy how ever much bandwidth you want for .99 cents a gig, you dont have to do it every month, the .99cents a gig is good for life (as long as your a customer)
nsanden 10-26-2001, 08:40 PM Your out of stock on all your servers??
NetXL 10-26-2001, 08:45 PM You talking bout the call/email for availability?
I think he just doesn't advertise the pricing on the site.
nsanden 10-26-2001, 09:10 PM No I was looking on affordableservers.net every one of their servers was "out of stock"
NetXL 10-26-2001, 09:14 PM Hmm that part of their network is pretty new. May just be setting things up, then accepting orders. Heh i'll let cbaker answer this one :p
cbaker17 10-27-2001, 02:32 AM The networks not new, but the affordableservers.net is, we just havent had time to get servers listed, besides this deals for affordablecolo.com anyhow...

It's called a mini server or something. It was discussed on WHT before.

Can I change the pre-purchased amount of data transfer on the next 3 month contract ? If so , will price still be $0.99 ?
