Am I?

$65 per month for...

- RedHat Linux/Unix OS
- 1GB Disk Space
- 20GB Bandwidth
- Plesk CP
- Up to 50 Domains
- 8 IPs
- 2 Nameservers
- Unlimited POP3/IMAP Accounts
- Unlimited FTP Accounts
- Unlimited Lists
- Unlimited MySQL Databases
- Support for CGI, mod_perl, PHP, Python, ASP, SSI, & C/C++
- SSH
- SSL
- Pass protected directories
- Front page
- Stats
- $2 per month per extra IP
- $5 per month per extra GB bandwidth

Is this a good deal?

(Either way I have to comment this company for a few things...
- Installed python support in less than 24 hours just for me upon my request
- Sent/recieved 50-100 messages with support over the last few days
- They are very willing to make minor package upgrades for free)

(Edit, I have talked to this guy about unlimited offers in that past and he claims to hate them too. He says it is just easier to use/manage for plesk.)

Seems reasonable to me ;)
Although you could, possibly, do better.
You could definatly do worse.
The main thing is you seem to have established a rapport with company. Which is a huge thing in itself.
Good luck; however you decide.

I'm already using this company.
I just wanted to know if I'm getting a good deal.

As I stated earlier, you could get a cheaper deal. It wouldn't be a 'lot' cheaper.
But, I'd stay with what I have if I were you and happy with the mangement.

Don't worry about the use of unlimited here.

The only time you need to be concerned is when hosts talk about unlimited space or transfer. The email and others truly can be unlimited (up to a point, but I know of nobody that ever approaches that breaking point!)

You can do 100% better

You might do better dollar wise but is support is great, as you seem to say, then what price do you put on that? I can tell you from experience that support is more important than price in the long run. Saving $10.00 or $20.00 and then not getting help and support would not do.

Take care,

Dennis

decent price + good support = good deal

Come on. From who? 50 virtual domains on one package for $65/mo is not a good deal? To me - who ever is offering this is losing money.

It's only the domains. The actual resources (1GB disk, 20GB bandwidth) are shared (as I decide and edit) between all fifty domains.

Also, I'm using a reseller version of plesk, so subdomains count as domains too.

Sounds like a good price to me!
