Hello

I need a reseller plan with $20-$30/month with guranteed uptime of about 99.8 or higher.

1- It must support both cpanel and web host manager (full access).

2- Subdomains, Unlimitted Mail Accounts (both smtp and pop), MySQL

3- Bandwidth and Space will determine my decision.

4- Again, I need guranteed uptime of 99.8% or higher

5- Provider must own servers (no resellers please)

Mac

I would recomend McHost.com (http://www.mchost.com). They seem to have a very good reputation on this board.

What do you mean by "subdomains"? something like

domain1.someone.com

or a real domain like www.someone.com and www.someoneelse.com?

I would like to know why you require the host to be using WHM/Cpanel.... There are many other very good administration and control panels out there... take HSphere for example.

Thanks.
Mike.

Hello Again

I think subdomain word is obvious enough. I need test1.domain.com etc.

Also about control panels, I have worked with more of them but I have more experience with them and I prefer them because I have more experience with them.

Hello

The site that is hosted by ecommercediscovery is my programming website.

In fact I asked Josh for a reseller account but his new server will be available in a week. As I was in a hurry I chosed spalshhost.

Josh is Great! He will do anything he can do for you. His prices also are always better than anyone. I have worked with hime for more than 6 months and have not seen any bad thing.

Splashhost has a very good reputation too. And it seems that Alan is a professional host.

Mac

I've been looking at SplashHost.com and EcommerceDiscovery, but I see that SplashHost only gives 10 gig transfer with 1000 mb space for $35. I think I've seen that same plan elsewhere with more transfer. I am looking for around 15 gig transfer for that price.

Also, what is the reseller plan for ecommercediscovery? I see a plan for $27.95/month with 600 mb and 15gb transfer, but doesn't say reseller or how many domains you can host.

Anyone know?

Thanks.

When I talked to Josh, he said the new server was ready and running, as of least weekend, he was just waiting for one more SCSI HD.
Josh had some problems with assigning IP's or did not had any available ip to assign - that's why I looking for other host.

Since Josh is getting a new server for reseller accounts... the prices and plans will be changed thus the above two plans will not be made available (to what I know). All new customers won't get the same old deal as his cost of this new server is higher than the old one including bandwidth cost.

Cheers :D

Simply email Josh and ask ;)

To what I have heard from him... he is calculating about the cost/profit overall then when he has finished it... he will put up his new plans and pricing. That's why you never see him around here to post his offer lately.

Although I have the new plans and pricing (rough) information... however without his permission... I can't post it here :(

Again, please contact Josh and ask him directly.

Good luck :)

Hello:

I would just like to say that I recommend Ecommerce Discovery. I had an acocunt with Josh in the past... Due to technical issues (my needs were more than a reseller account) I cancelled my account. My main point is that Josh was very helpful and understanding, and I would be happy to work with him again.

Just thought I would let everybody know about my experience with them!

Good Luck finding the right reseller plans people!

Hello again

Who knows when is the server ready?
I will need two new reseller accounts soon.

I will register a new account with him too but I must first know his prices.

Hi,

I highly recommend splashhost.com I have a reseller account with them and so far it's been great and and also Alan, who I communicate often via email has been very helpful and it really is a relieve to have a Host that takes care of their resellers when they have problems.

I had a problem setting up my own nameservers, I got confused and Alan was always there and kind enough to guide me step by step until it was finally set up with my domain registrar.

I got me an account with Alan this after noon.
Got my ns numbers updated, and need to wait 24/48 hours, for the change.
But it looks good so far.
