it will not be easy for you to find what you want for that price, btw most of windows servers don't run php and mysql

so wt can a big website using ASP tool for publishing news & php+Mysql for running it's large phpbb2 forum ?
i used a shared hosting with all the options installed on windowsplatform for 1 year but the site has grow much than the server of the shared hosting can handle .. they always block the site as they claim we r eating extra server resources..
we use apporximately ( 70 GB bandwidth ) monthly..
so i agreed that they move the site to a semi-dedicated server for this month till i find a better host..
so wt can i do ?

Hi,
Here is something to consider:
Windows licenses cost on an average of an extra $20/mo.
You are planning on paying $55/mo, so that means the actual server cost will have to be $35/mo. Not sure if you will find such rates.

For Windows hosting, you are looking at either a very large shared hosting account (with strong guarantees that there are no more than X accounts on the server where X is a small number) or a dedicated server. From what I've seen a low-cost dedicated server will be the same price or less than a *credible* shared hosting plan of this size.
But, you will need to increase your budget as you will not get a reliable Windows server at $55/month. Do avoid the temptation of going for the lowest cost server that will run out of power too soon.
PHP and MySQL are no problem on Windows servers.

Also, I'm not a big expert on Windows/ASP but I am pretty sure that ASP could be installed on *nix platforms.
