Can anyone recommend good (and preferably cheap) registrar for .cc domain names.?

It appears www.enic.cc sells for 30/year or cheaper on longer registrations, but it is run by VeriSign, so it is probably cheaper elsewhere.

godady has them for $19.95 / year. Is that the cheapest place to get them?

I got mine through godaddy... It wasn't much more than a .com domain...

Gerrit - where d you see these sort s of prices as they bear *no* resemblance to any registrars I know of ...

I can look it up at my computer (I have an Excel file where I keep price comparisations for domains). I'm typing this from the computer at work though, so I'll have to wait until I'm back home before I can tell you.
I'm also not sure it wasn't a temporary promotion. I remember that I once saw a .cc for 14 $, but maybe the prices went up again...
